The Put-in-Bay Township Park District has been awarded two grants to cleanup and restore the Massie Cliffside Preserve-Natureworks and an Ohio Coastal Management Grant! Both of these grants are reimbursement grants so we must pay first for the removal of the cottages and removal of dumpsters, before we are reimbursed. Nearby property owners Hal and Barb Leitch have generously donated funds enough to remove the barn and trailer! We will start first with these two buildings this fall. We hope to remove everything by winter so that we can restore the property with trees, trail, fence, small parking lot for next season.
