Invasive Honeysuckle Removal

EnviroScience will be visiting our island preserves (including Scheeff East Point And Duff Woods Preserve) in the next few days to remove the invasive Amur honeysuckle. This non-nativesmall tree or shrub crowds out the native young trees like maple, basswood, hackberry, ash, and oak. These efforts to restore our island forests are supported by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
