Lake Erie Islands Conservancy Winter Bird Seed Sale   Have your winter bird seed supply delivered to your island residence! We will be selling Winter Bird Seed to benefit Lake Erie Islands Conservancy again this fall. Bat Conservation

The Lake Erie Islands Conservancy will host a program on Ohio Bat Conservation given by Sarah Stankavich of the Ohio Division of Wildlife, Heidi Bencin and Austin Waag, research technicians with Ohio University. The Time of Apollo

Discover the astronauts involved with circling and walking on the moon. Twelve astronauts walked on the lunar surface. The 50th anniversary will be happening this year. The first landing was on July 20th, 1969! Come celebrate with a presentation of this amazing feat from local Solar System Ambassador Gene Zajac. As we are a community without light pollution, our Lake Erie Islands Conservancy continues to offer programs on astronomy topics-thanks to Gene!

Earth Day 2019

Dutchman’s Breeches Earth Day 2019 On Monday, April 22, the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy will hold an Earth Day walk at the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail at 4:00pm. We will enjoy early spring wildflowers like Dutchman’s Breeches, cut-leaved toothwort, and false  Solomon’s seal. Everyone will learn to identify the invasive garlic mustard-and pull it up! Back to the Wild Island Visit

Back To The Wild, a Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic in Castalia, Ohio, will visit Put-in-Bay, on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
