Lighthouse Lake Erie Islands Conservancy Party
We had a fun Lake Erie Islands Conservancy (LEIC) party at the South Bass Islands Lighthouse on December 14, 2016 with the hardy souls who came out anyway with the gale force west winds. Appetizers were provided by the Ohio State University Stone Lab who did a beautiful job decorating and hosting the event. A 10th anniversary Put-in-Bay Township Park District (PIBTPD) cake made by Dennis and Agnes Uszak was enjoyed by all. We had a champagne toast from Heineman’s Winery to mark the anniversary. Kendra Koehler brought chocolate cups from the Goat to drink the champagne from. Ham and salmon prepared by Russ Brohl was provided by the LEIC along with many tasty potluck dishes.
A visit from Santa brought bottles of Heineman’s Pinot Grigio for Put-in-Bay Township Park District board Members Kelly Faris, Kendra Koehler, Lisa Brohl and past member Marvin Booker. The PIBTPD and OSU Stone Lab are partners with the Conservancy on many land preservation projects. The Conservancy wishes to thank all of our partners and members for support over the past year!
