2023 Spring Bird Banding Dates – 2024 Coming Soon!


All dates subject to change, cancellation, weather, or rainout Call if in doubt!

Banding begins ½ hour before sunrise and usually ends mid-afternoon.

Tom and Paula Bartlett will be banding birds on the islands again this spring. Below are the dates and times when you can come and visit the banding station to see the birds up close!

Please contact Lisa at or 419-366-2087 to let us know you are coming. Please drive through the gate to park so that we do not block the entrance. Do not park on private property outside the gate.
