Attached are the 2018 bird banding totals for the Bass Islands. Thanks to bird-banders Tom Bartlett, Dr. James Marshall, and Tom Kashmer and all their assistants, scribes, extractors for the efforts this year. We appreciate too the permission from Dr. Bill Cleveland and Barb and Mark Barnhill for the use of their property for banding. This data is invaluable with how the Put-in-Bay Township Park District manages their preserves and with obtaining grant funds for protect more habitat for migratory and resident birds.Thanks again everyone for the hard work and great data! And the chance to see these beautiful birds up close
